Welcome to the IX season of the 90 Day Challenge
Starts: WEDNESDAY 30th June, 2010

Congratulations for making the decision to take charge of your life. We strongly believe the
90 day challenge will guide you through a 12 week journey of self achievement; you have made the right choice... It's about lifestyle change and teaching you how to create better positive habits to replace the bad ones.
What your 90 day challenge will consist of:
Upon joining the 90 day challenge you will be booked in for an exercise consultation and program. This is the day you will effectively start your 90 day program.
- Exercise Consultation & Program (1hour):
During your 1 hour consultation & program, you will have the opportunity to discuss your personal weight loss goals, one on one with your trainer. This is where you and your trainer get to ask any questions about your program and outline their expectations from you. They will complete measurements (weight, height, blood pressure, girth etc) and will design and tailor a program based on your fitness goals whilst taking into consideration your limitations. Please remember your program will be designed for you, and no two programs are alike because everybody is different. There are always reasons why your trainer prescribes something for you to do or not do. So if you have any questions or concerns don't hesitate to ask... We're here to help you!
Before your Appointment: We ask that; No heavy meals, cigarettes, caffeine or energy drinks (e.g. red bull, tea etc) are consumed and no exercise prior to consultation. If you have HAD or HAVE any medical conditions, injuries or have been hospitalised in the last 6 weeks, we ask that you to get a medical clearance from your doctor before your initial consultation, e.g. High Blood Pressure, diabetes, surgery & etc.
Before & After Photos: We will also be taking a 'before' and 'after' Photo. A before & white t-shirt will be provided for you to wear on the day.
- Nutritional Advice:
As part of the program you will also be given free nutritional advice from our trainers regarding, eating behaviors, types of food to eat and easy to understand food plans. You also have the option to use our specialist dietician at a small cost (Cost TBA) booking/s will be essential.
- Food and Exercise Diary:
You will be issued a Free Food & Exercise Diary; your instructor will explain what is required from you and some general nutritional advice. This will be issued to you in your initial exercise consultation and program.
- Personal Training Sessions:
As part of your program, you will be offered 12 x 1/2 hour Personal training sessions.
These sessions are offered to you 1 x half hour sessions per week for the duration of your 12 week challenge.
For that extra motivation and boost, you will also have an opportunity to purchase Extra Personal Training Sessions at a subsidized cost of ONLY $20 half hour session (normally $35), appointments are essential.
If for any reason you cannot attend your appointment/s we ask that you notify us at least 24hrs in advance, otherwise you may lose that session. Expect a phone call if you don't show up.
Please note: your 12 x 1/2 hour personal training sessions are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Any unused sessions (after the 90 days) will be forfeited.
- Group Exercise Sessions:
Are FREE to members and your Exercise Specialist may recommend that you attend them, please see our current timetable for session times and dates.
- Refocus/Remeasurements:
During weeks 4, 8, and 12 you will also be booked in with your trainer for your official re-measurements and upgrade of your program. During this time you have the opportunity to re-evaluate your program and see the results you have achieved so far, a great chance for you and your trainer to refocus on your current program and measure your progress.
- Final day of your challenge:
The last day of your 90 day challenge will be 90 days from the date of your first consultation. You'll need to get your final weigh in on this date (You will be notified of your finish date) along with your "after" photo.
- Prizes:
The total prize pool is $1500 in prizes only and is subject to the minimum of 50 contestants. If the challenge numbers fall below 50 then the following prize pool will be amended;
(41 - 49 = $1500 in prizes) (31 - 40 = $1300 in prizes) (21 - 30 = $1000 in prizes) (Less than 21 = $750 in prizes). Any changes to the prize pool will be published on our website - www.fitnessforum.com.au
- Sponsor My Challenge:
The 90 day weight loss challengers encourage competitors to find a support person/s for added motivation. Your support person can be a training partner, family & friends, or even a work colleague/s. This can be done by a sponsor/s providing you a reward to reach your achievable weight loss target, such as a gift or a friendly bet between you, it can be anything. By having a sponsor throughout your challenge has proven to hold more accountability and support.
*Please note: all prizes and awards are to be presented in the 90 day challenge ceremony in December 2010. Official date of the ceremony is to be confirmed.
During the challenge if you find that there are any changes to your current health e.g. injuries, pregnancy or any health changes, we ask that you please inform us immediately.
Trainers are there to help and guide you through your 90 day journey, use them to gain as much information and advice as possible. Your end results will be determined by the hard work you put in.
From here end, it's all about you, you make the choices, we will simply be a re-assuring guide all the way.
The end result, what you achieve will make you a winner; Remember the prizes are just a bonus.
